Kids
light up with Science You Can Sing To! In this
show, Ryan Buckle and Zelda the Zookeeper perform a
full-blown musical concert and exciting science
demonstrations that teach kids about
animal science, rockets, chemical reactions and more.
The performance reinforces National and Virginia
Standards of Learning (SOL) in science and includes
related teaching materials and experiments. Five free
Swamp Stomp Boogie CDs included, and teachers can
download and print our educational handout to send
home with kids.

Depends on group size and requirements.
Add a meet and greet session to your show! Your audience
will have the exciting opportunity to meet Ryan and
Zelda, play with our UFO balls, launch paper helicopters
and touch animal artifacts like turtle shells, bones,
shed snake skin and more. Hands-on Science Encounters
are available for groups of up to 100 and typically last
for 15-30 minutes after the show. Can only be booked
with a show.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES & CLASS VISITS
Welcome Ryan Buckle or Zelda the Zookeeper to your next
birthday party or class event! Designed for
smaller audiences, this intimate show brings science to
life with music and interactive science demonstrations,
including the rockets, gas heads, smoke ring
blasters, UFO balls and bubble machine from the stage
show.
Teachers, this show also supports the
National and State Standards of Learning for Science.

curriculum materials.

Prices:

One 45
minute acoustic show: $250; each additional 45 minute show: $175
- great for pre-k through 2nd grade.
§
One 30
minute show: $225; each additional 30 minute show: $150
- great for younger audiences with a more limited
attention span.
§
Extended
Hands-on Session: Add up to 30 minutes of extended time
for kids to ask Ryan or Zelda questions, play with our vortex
blaster, light up our UFO balls, launch paper
helicopters and touch real animal fossils. Can only be
booked with a show: $75.
An
additional $50 is charged to all hands-on shows booked
to start at 5 pm or later.
§
Travel
fees are NOT charged to the following locations:
Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince
William Counties, VA; Montgomery County Maryland; and
Washington, DC. All other locations are charged a
travel fee.
